Abstract: This study investigates the impact of time management on project success, aiming to: 1) assess the effectiveness of time management techniques, 2) evaluate the impact of time management on project outcomes, and 3) recommend strategies for improving time management in projects. A survey design was utilized to collect data from project managers and team members. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 360 respondents was determined, ensuring a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. The study was conducted in the IT sector in Lagos, where effective time management is crucial. The reliability coefficient score of the survey instrument was 0.88, indicating high reliability. Findings indicated that effective time management, including detailed scheduling, prioritization, and monitoring, significantly enhances project success. Recommendations include adopting time management tools, providing training on time management techniques, and promoting a culture of time consciousness within project teams.
